For those of you looking to keep informed on the details of the ‘Expendables’ sequel scheduled for release Summer of next year, we have some new rumors floating about. It should come as no surprise at all that the rumors focus on the (potential) addition of new cast members, who include Jean-Claude Van Damme, John Travolta, and Chuck Norris. Van Damme should have been a no-brainer for the first ‘Expendables’, as well as Chuck Norris. I don’t know why someone like Randy Couture was given the part over these two classics. This of course means that young kids across the globe are taking a sudden interest in the martial arts and its various forms. This is great news for the martial arts industry and bad news for any kids that think they’re going to learn the Wuxi Finger Hold.
The good folks at Contactmusic.com have found a tid-bit of news concerning everyone’s favorite aging martial artist. In an attempt to keep the likes of Deathrace 2 and Cabin Fever 3 company on the shelves of Blockbusters everywhere, Jean Claude Van Damme (JCVD to his peeps) is set to star in the upcoming ‘Six Bullets’. You know how every kung fu movie fan knows that Bruce Lee had to have his film slowed down just so that audiences would be able to see what he was doing? ‘Six Bullets’ will be just like that, except in reverse. The no-doubt complex plot will revolve around a ‘a former mercenary kidnapping expert who is hired by a top martial arts champ...
