Jackie Chan’s Son To Star In New Kung Fu Film This Weekend!

If you’re like most martial arts movie fans out there you probably weren’t even aware that Jackie Chan had a son, let alone one that was looking to follow in his gigantic footsteps. Well, as the above trailer shows you, Double Trouble is shaping up to be just as fun and goofy as some of Jackie’s classics. Here’s hoping the limited release this movie gets lands at a theater near you!

‘Warrior’ Scores a Hit With Critics and Audiences

Now that MMA fans have a movie dedicated entirely to their sport, how does it fare? Will it rise to the challenge, becoming a truly great sport film against which all MMA movies are hereafter judged? Or will it suck? Well, according to the scientists at Rotten Tomatoes (and the critics they measure), ‘Warrior’ doesn’t suck. For those of you too lazy to read the Tomatometer yourselves, I’ll spoil it for you: Right now it’s getting an 84%. So who’s planning on seeing this and why? Are you a sucker for sports films? A fan of MMA? Just a huge Tom Hardy fan? (guilty)

Bruce Lee’s Auction: Update

The Bruce Lee auction I told you about last week went down on Saturday. Appraisers had estimated that the collection would fetch around $100K in it’s entirety. This should just go to show you that those fancy-pants auction people don’t always know what they’re talking about, because the collection ended up selling for more than $200K, so take that! For those of you that are curious, the highest selling item was actually NOT the hand-written letter everyone had been expecting.
